It's coming up to christmas and my mum had asked me what stocking fillers I want. I want books because I've started reading a book every two weeks like I used to when I was in highschool.

I love sci-fi fantasy kind of books.

And I like slash, not necassarily gay themed, but that's okay, just nice male slashness. Get me. I need recommendations.

I thought these pictures were interesting, they're taken from a new book by Greenfield-Sanders.

sorry, i dont have any pics up, i have to figure out how to do that. i just wanted to make one post. i dont know if any of you have read "Rainbow Boys." its a book and yeah that title should be underlined but my internet doesnt work too well so i dont feel like putting this post into rich text mode in case my computer freezes randomly. anywhoo... u all should read that book. its my favorite book in the world besides any books by J.R.R. Tolkien, but anyway, yeah, its about 3 gay guys. and its really really good and really sad. and there's a heck of a lot of boy touching described in there. and wow, yeah, they should make a movie out of that book. oh, one more thing, i forgot. also u all should read "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." that book has boy touching as well, cuz one of the awesomest characters in that book, Patrick, is gay. well, thats all i wanted to say.

i asked this question a while back in the reading community i was in and no one had read it. i was disappointed cause i wanted to have a discussion about it :P anyway...

Christopher Bram anyone? he's this really fantastic gay fiction writer.. and a while back I read this book of his called The Notorious Dr. August. It was like... absolutely one of the best books I've ever read. it was just.. soooo great. I love those coming of age/from boyhood to elderly type books. it made me cry too because its gets really sad at parts. i mean... holy crap. this book. gah i want to read it again. so much gayness too. LOTS of gayness. i drooled. and cried. and disturbed my friends :P anyway... just wondering if anyone else has read this... and if you have not... READ IT!

heres the link on amazon. its a historical fiction that takes place from civil war to around the 1920s or 1930s. it had everything. i mean it. it was lovely.
