so. sorry, i dont come with pics, but i do come with stories. so, im here in columbia, mo, and we have this local theatre called ragtag: www.ragtagfilm.com and right now there's a thing called the passport film series. 10 foreign films are shown and if u watch 7 or more, u turn in ur passport and if it's drawn u win a trip outside of the US. pretty cool. so i saw the israeli film last nite called Walk On Water. it's got a gay German guy in it who's really cute. so he's in israel and obviously, being able to smell gay guys, he walks up to a waiter and asks him out. they go to a gay club together and they start dancing. they get really close, whispering in each other's ears. the german guy has got his hand on the palestinians chest and the palestinian is stroking his hand. it is soooo hot. in the end the german guy has to leave cuz his "tour guide" (one of the main characters) is an ass to him (his name is Rafik) and so, i hoped they would make out, but they only hug, but the german does start stroking the back of his neck. here's a pic of the german.

 the actor's name is knut berger. the palestinian actor's name is Yousef 'Joe' Sweid but i couldnt find any pics of him. sorry. he was kinda cute tho.

so there's also gonna be a thai film called Tropical Malady. i havent seen it yet cuz it shows oct 18 and 19 but here's what it's about: This Cannes Jury Prize-winning film is an entrancing, dreamlike meditation that begins as a gay romance before transforming into a wordless supernatural fable about man and beast in the jungle.

I wish my town did something like that, hell, I wish they would play foreign films once in a while.

And how is that guy's name pronounced? I took german but I'm drawing a blank. Knut Berger...me and my silly english accent are trying to pronouce it Nut Burger. Which is just to silly to be true.
