Rammstein BT time.

The guitarists Paul Landers and Richard Kruspe-Bernstein. This is so damn cute.

I nearly died when I saw this one. Shame that there's no tongue involved...

Richard and Christoph Schneider on the set of the Du Riechst so Gut video. Lovely.

Paul gets a mouthful. XD

No BT, but this is so goofy I just had to share.
By the way, who here has seen Constantine? It was lacking in substance IMHO, but they sure as hell made up for it with those tension-laden scenes between Gavin Rossdale (Balthazar) and Keanu! They look damn good together. Does anyone have screencaps they want to share? Plzkthx.

Date: 2005-04-11 10:24 pm (UTC)This is Bittorrent (http://bittorrent.com). Go here (http://www.isohunt.com) to find torrent files, which'll allow you download shiet. Use only the search field thinger on the top; the other leads to some crappy adware/search engine page.

Date: 2005-04-11 10:50 pm (UTC)And what exactly *is* bittorrent used for? (I feel very dumb for asking this, but anything technical eludes me.)

Date: 2005-04-11 11:03 pm (UTC)It's just a P2P client, which, for the most part, means users download from one another off their PCs instead of a server. Servers, by the way, are special computers where websites and their content are stored. You download, or "leech", bits of files from other users and at the same time upload what you have to others who need what you've got. It's a rather efficient system for large file transfers.
The problem with this system is that you can get "stuck" if there's no one uploading, or "seeding", the parts you need, but that doesn't happen too often with popular files. See here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bittorrent) for more info.

Date: 2005-04-12 02:13 am (UTC)The RIAA is pretty powerful and they've raised a big stink about P2P programs before. The MPAA also has a bone to pick with BT, what with the popularity of pirated movie downloads. Those two together spell serious trouble for BT.
