Just thought I'd post a few screencaptures from one of the most subtly (and sometimes downright overtly) slashy horror movies ever: Re-Animator! And Bride of Re-Animator, the (first) sequel.

For those not familiar with the plot: the bossy, misogynist, pint-sized mad scientist Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) enlists the help of the somewhat naive and weak-willed medical student Daniel Cain (Bruce Abbott) in a series of experiments designed to bring the dead back to life. Zombies are created, gore ensues, bad things happen, but Dan still stays with Herbert... at least until the third movie (Beyond Re-Animator, just recently released). But for the first two, they are such a couple... with a great dynamic.

I've been wanting to see this movie forever (mainly cause Bruce Abbott is in it, and because I love these type of movies), but I haven't been able to find it anywhere over here. And now, seeing how extremely slashy it is, I just want to see it even more!

Um... I definitely had to get Bride of Re-Animator on ebay. If you feel like paying for shipping, maybe that's the way to go. I'm sorry no one's got them where you are, though. What an injustice!
