I want to add a bunch of people to my friend's list.
How to I go about it?

Under "Your Settings" click "Your Friends" and type their user names into the boxes.

You can also friend from a person's profile. To get to a profile,
-type in the address
http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=SOMEONESUSERNAMEHERE (where "SOMEONESUSERNAME" is the user you want to friend)
-or click on the little man () next to a user's name in journal entries.

Once you get to their profile, click on the icon that looks like this:

If you go on someones user info then just click on the little guy with a + next to him.
