Oh, definately! That look alone that Sam's giving Frodo is quite suggestive. *squee*
It looks like one of those moments where sappy romantic music plays in the background and slowly Sam kisses Frodo. Then by some magigal force Frodo wakes up and they admit their feelings towards one another and they live happily ever after. Well, not exactly, considering that Frodo still has the Ring and has to destroy it somehow. Hee. But still, gotta love them for being so in love. *sighs dreamily*
Ooooooh, that was nice. I'm thinking that you could write some pretty juicy fan fiction.
Also, at the end of the first movie when Sam almost drowns and he says something along the lines of " I made a promise I'd never leave you" to Frodo, then they both cry and embrace.... *sigh* that's just so damn touching. .....sorry..heh...I'm only slightly obsessed....
Hehe. That's okay, so am I! It's all about Frodo/Sam luvin'! I guess I could write it if I actually tried to, but then again I'm still busy with this other slash fic..but anyways, yeah, that scene at the ending was so cute...even my mom called it "romantic." Haha.
And it was "I made a promise Mr. Frodo! A promise! Don't you lose him Samwise Gamgee! And I don't mean too...I don't mean too."
*and thus they embrace and cry in each others arms* Aww...
i always cry at that part! *sniffle* i have always thought that there was more than friendship between frodo and sam! and there is. there so is. on the commentry for fotr extended edition sir ian even said he thought so too. *sigh*
i think it's when sam rushes into frodo's room at rivendell when he hears that frodo has woken. sir ian also comments on when sam takes hold of frodo's hand.
**There might be spoilers or something here. Nothing big**
If they follow the book, and Ian McKellen wasn't just leading us on like a horrible, evil man (or maybe he was talking about Cirith Ungol, which may be like that picture only with nudity) Sam *should* kiss Frodo in that scene. Just on the forehead, though. But still, awwww.
I really hope he does. But there are a variety of times in the book where Sam kisses Frodo, and I think they're only getting in one kiss so as not to make certain members of the audience yell "Dude, that's so gay!" during really tender moments. Damn them.
Oh, I know I'm going to cry. I don't know how I'll be able to get through the movie without drowning in tears. I'm seriously planning on bringing a box of tissues, and maybe I'll pass a few out before the movie starts.
Oh that one of Sam and Frodo is so adorable! And I agree with whoever said that Elijah is cuter thand Orli. I mean, don't get me wrong here, Orli is damn fine. But Elijah is just... so much more <33 and so is Viggo. Yum.
i probably shouldn't have seen that second one yet, but i'm really pretty certain i spoiled that part for myself already anyway, and it's not as depressing as the picture makes it seem... i think. Anyway, it's darling. And frodo looks so damn much like the guy i have this ubercrush on, and it just kinda makes it even more *meep*. Hmm... gay!john... maybe that's why he doesn't really respond... ;D
anyway, i'm not sure how exactly i feel about samxfrodo slashiness. It's adorable to be sure, but it seems like what they have goes almost beyond that of friends or lovers or brothers. It's hard to describe. OK, it's like me and my friend liz. we disagree on so many things and bicker so much you'd think we'd hate each other but neither of us can stay mad at the other for very long. We both make up for the what the other lacks. Sam and Frodo seem like that to me, more than just VERY VERY GAY. Which they do act very very gay. but so do me and liz ;)
Legolas and Aragorn on the other hand....... MMMM PRETTY MAN LOVIN. ;)
This is nothing that hasn't been said already, but Sam and Frodo are the sweetest! I'm so glad they published that poster despite all the immature people out there who might have something stupid to say about it. I can already tell I'm going to make a fool out of myself in the theatre from crying so much, lol.
