starsky and hutch the movie

Well I was reading Entertainment Weekly and stumbled across talk of a Starsky and Hutch (one of my favorite tv programs and one of the original slash couples) film. First, I must say I practically flailed with excitement because I like cheesy cop dramas, and then I just died when I read this:

"As for reports that the buddy cops will me more than just buddies, [director Tom] Phillips laughs: 'All I'll say is that it's a relationship between two straight men. It's about what they go through before they realize they're perfect for each other.'"

Aaaaw.
