starsky and hutch the movie

Well I was reading Entertainment Weekly and stumbled across talk of a Starsky and Hutch (one of my favorite tv programs and one of the original slash couples) film. First, I must say I practically flailed with excitement because I like cheesy cop dramas, and then I just died when I read this:

"As for reports that the buddy cops will me more than just buddies, [director Tom] Phillips laughs: 'All I'll say is that it's a relationship between two straight men. It's about what they go through before they realize they're perfect for each other.'"

Aaaaw.

Oh yeah! The cast as of now is Owen Wilson as Hutch, Ben Stiller as Starsky, Snoop Dogg as Huggy Bear, and Vince Vaughn as the bad guy. In case you were interested.
