Davis Cup is a tournament in which tennis players have the opportunity to play for their countries and make out share the joy with their teammates.
The Davis Cup tie that took place last weekend was particularly special. Take a look.
The Argentine doubles team celebrate with a horizontal tango...

...because, you know, they're a very traditional people. :-P

But the Spanish are much more enthusiastic.

And not at all subtle.

They even cuddle afterwards!

Rafael (red shirt) and Fernando are very sweet kids.

But the winners of this year's boy touching awards are the Russians.
Not because of this picture...

Not because even Boris Yeltsin joined in on the fun...

And not because Marat looks so happy squishing his mentor, Alexander...

But because of THIS PICTURE:
Dmitry Tursunov (left) and Igor Andreev win at life.

*happy sigh*

Date: 2006-09-27 07:25 am (UTC)Yeah, thats, um, cake-taking.
I think the tennis guys have alot of this pent up, cause they rarely have teams to celebrate with. The other dudes in the game are almost always their opponents. So when the chance comes to unleash some of that elation with someone who knows the same feeling at once, they seem to go all out. As seen by all of these pictures!
