So, I rented King Kong last night and watched it for the first time. Since it was a Peter Jackson movie, I shouldn't have been surprised to find that it was a little bit slashy, mainly centered around the character of Jimmy (played by Jamie Bell). He got lots of love from Mr. Hayes (Evan Parke). . .

Peter Jackson has a formula that works: good story, great filmmaking, and to make sure the fangirls show up, just enough slashiness. I approve! Nice post.
