If anyone has not seen this film, or the play from which it was adapted, I highly recommend seeing it. First of all, it's a brilliant adaptation of a brilliant show. And it dwells with no restraint or reserve upon sexuality on the part of the individual students, as well as the rather controversial topic of teacher/student relations. Now to make this short and sweet, one of the students, Posner, is gay and is in love with another student, Dakin. Dakin is straight but is also highly sexual and develops a huge crush on their new professor, Irwin (he's only a few years older than the students. And my god, is he nerdsextastic). Now I don't want to give anything away, because you need to see the film yourself, but the scenes with Dakin and Irwin get increasingly sexually charged, and Posner himself is just...love. :D
I'll leave you with an example of the love:
( bewitched, bothered, and bewildered )
