ok - so this was a pivotal point in my growing up. 1984 and The Comic Strip presented this pastiche on The Professionals... it was a comedy... lots of stereotypical camera angles and macho posturing - and omg the sexual tensions. the looks, the glances - and then the pay off, of a confession of love, sealed with a semi naked tumble down a gravel pit and kisses aplenty. I have a diary entry from when this was shown on tv - squeeeing, hurrahing and loving on the boytouching before I was old enough to fully understand!!

I fell in love with Keith Allen from this show (and if anyone has 'The Crying Game' out there.. (NOT that one, the gay footballer one....)
