I've had The Looking Glass War sitting on my Anthony Hopkins shelf for almost six months and I finally got around to watching it last week. It's a Cold War spy movie based on a John le Carre novel and I bought it solely because Hopkins was in it. It turned out to be surprisingly slashy. Christopher Jones' Leiser seems to be half a second away from shagging anything with legs throughout the entire movie. Also, as one reviewer on imdb says, it features "perhaps the all-time greatest one-on-one, man-on-man, no-holds-barred, knock-down-slap-around fist fights ever captured on celluloid." There should be a clip of that in here, if all goes well.
OK, so as we start out, Hopkins' John Avery keeps Leiser literally at arms length.

And here's a link to the lovely wrestling match. *crosses fingers and hopes that works*
Leiser goes missing and Avery is sent to find him and decides to cheer him up...

By bringing him to a bar and getting fall-down drunk.
The chalk bit is, erm... interesting.
