It was an almost perfect scene - i love Maurice's face when he realises that after a lifetime of confusion, this might be the thing that makes sense of his life..
I thought the same thing too, his expression is priceless. The pics have inspired me to check out the book @ my local library. I'm currently about 1/3 of the way into it and it's a great read so far, wonderful moments of bt and self-awareness by both characters.
aw great! - I love the book too - I started with the book back in the day.., now I can't read it without hearing the movie 'voices' when reading the dialogue, but that's fine by me! It is one of those books that have been 'done' well on film. Hope you enjoy the rest!
