Something that made me happy...

I love superhero comics. I grew up reading them. So I still buy them, when I see something that looks promising. My newest discovery is The Authority. It's a DC/Wildstorm joint project. And I love it. A lot. Mostly because it has a good story, but also because it has a canon gay couple, Apollo and the Midnighter. They get married and adopt a daughter.

It is. There is a scene on the next page where Midnighter tells her to go to bed, and Apollo acuses him of being too hard. Midnighter's reply is just great. "Not anymore, I'm not," while looking under the covers. I love those two...
